Color Combo Challenge #65

Please welcome our Guest Designer this week, Catherine Bodine !

My name is Catherine Bodine. I started collecting scrap supplies in 1997 but didn't make my first page until our 1st child was born. I thought it would be a great way to create a custom baby book for our less traditional family. It became my obsession when we lived in an apartment for a summer with NO TV and all I did was scrap and I haven't stopped since. I have had the pleasure of being published in Creating Keepsakes, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbooks ETC, Scrapbook Trends among others. I was privileged to receive an honorable mention in the 2006 CK Hall of Fame. I use color as a design element in my pages and since my scrapbook style is very minimalist I often only use colored cardstock in my pages and make the color a huge part of the design. I love to use bright, vibrant colors and this weeks challenge colors really suited my style (it was also great that they perfectly match my Simply Cardstock March Kit).

    I love this color combo! It was the perfect excuse to use BG Lollipop shoppe!!!! I love that line but have a hard time using it.

    Here's another page I did with this week's colors. I ended up using more of the two pinks and only used the blue and green in the pre-printed word strip.
