Color Combo Challenge #66

Please welcome our Guest Designer this week, Emily Pitts !

I have been described as an "everyday scrapper," one of the greatest compliments ever in my opinion. My hope in spending all this time and money is that my kids and husband will be able to look at the pages I make and remember the everyday in our house. I usually start my layouts with kraft, it just always feels better. I like bold bright designs, balanced with a nice amount of white space (expect for this particular layout!). I don't embellish much. I love to use my own handwriting when I journal, and I love to journal. The story is what I always start with! I love scrapping about myself as much as my family, I figure if I don't tell my story, no one else will be able to do it justice. I've been lucky enough to be published a few times and have won a couple of contests. I've also been blessed to make some amazing friendships through this hobby. I think that's been the icing on the cake.

    Lovely LO, Arelene! Is there anywhere for us to leave praise?
    I was just mucking around testing the links on Arlene's photobucket for pasting into a comment. I thought I'd be able to experiment and then delete my post - but no, I've left a trail! And the link wasn't a simple copy and paste as I'd hoped.
